ID this grass, please!

I'm not feeding my critters this grass, got a large patch of it. It's smooth and shinny, very different than most grasses. The stem of the seeds is a perfect triangle.

Then, my next question would be, is it rabbit or gp safe?

If it is yellow nutsedge, then the "nutlets," which you would find when you pull it out of the ground, are used in turkey feed. They are supposed to be sweet.

Danaus29 is a very knowledgeable rabbit person and here is a quote from a thread on the Homesteading Today forum:
