I'm not feeding my critters this grass, got a large patch of it. It's smooth and shinny, very different than most grasses. The stem of the seeds is a perfect triangle.

If it is yellow nutsedge, then the "nutlets," which you would find when you pull it out of the ground, are used in turkey feed. They are supposed to be sweet.
