I may be getting a rabbit tonight!

$10 on Craigslist for a white rabbit with indoor cage setup. Not sure of age, breed, or sex.

Kinda a rescue. It's for sale because the daughter was too rough and hurt it's ear. If he's not sick or full of mites he's coming with me.

I figure worst that happens I get experience with rabbits, a meal, and a cage to use for quarantine.

but I'm not sure you want to use the term 'rescue' with a rabbit you think you'll eat .. something just strikes me as a little odd about that word choice

LOL I don't plan on eating him! I WANT Cadbury to live and be the first bunny in my herd.

Since he is my first rabbit EVER and is injured I'm just preparing myself for if he dies. Past experience with guinea pigs if I don't plan what will happen if they die or get hurt, I totally fall apart.

I will start another thread for suggestion on helping his ear.
