How weird is this

My second cali doe was due yesterday. She is a first time mom just to get that out of the way. This is the same aggressive doe that I wrote about in another thread. She would not let me put a nest box in. She would attack it like she does me. So I stuff her cage full of hay. Here come the weird part. She kindle 1 kit yesterday morning. Spent the night building a nest (barely pulled any hair). Then she gave birth to 8 more this morning almost 24 hours later than the first one. What happened and Why? :?

They can delay birth some. She must have decided she was not ready or something spooked her. Aggressive rabbits tend to be the more nervous rabbits.

I've had does have viable kits over a 48 hour period and those with premature or stuck kits can have them over several days
