Well, I'm gettng ready to wean my first litter of bunnies and was wondering what was the best way to do it. So, of course I came here! :D
So, what all do you do? Would it be best to just take them right out for good or to wean them slowly? They are going to be 7 weeks when I wean them.
Can't wait to hear what you think!

How many?
Take two out into their own cage.
Then one a day until all are in the grow out pen.

at seven weeks I simply remove them and place wherever I want. I remove all at once at seven weeks.

Before seven weeks of age I handle things differently

at four weeks I remove the doe and leave kits where they are at.
at five weeks I remove half of them (usually the bucks and move them with their mom)
post six weeks I remove the kits and place wherever I have space.

Hey double H,
everybody has their own way of doing things.
There can always be extenuating circumstances
which may make one handle things differently
at any given time. For the most part I wean the kits [all of them]
to another cage or possible two cages if I decide to separate the Bucks and Does.
At times I may wean two or more litters at the same time with the bucks and does
going in the cage I have allotted for the task.
You must do what works best for you.

There are eight.

I made a small mistake. I'll be weaning them at six weeks (I've been so busy my numbers are getting jumbled up! :) )

Thanks for all your advice!
