This is a new software and here is how you post a new thread.

1. Look at the list of forums, and choose the one that fits your topic.
2. Click on that Forum Name. That will open and show the list of threads.
3. At the top of that list of threads is a space that has "Thread Title" in light print.

4. Click on that Thread Title blank space and put in your Thread title.
5. The large body of the message box opens when you click on that Thread Title area. Fill in the message of your post.
6. You will then look to the bottom right for the Post Thread button and click on it.

Posting an image.

1. You can use the attach files button on the lower left and that will take you to your phone, tablet or computer's image storage area. Choose the one you want and let it upload.

2. As the image is uploading you'll see a bar showing how far along the upload is. When it's done there is a thumbnail, you will see insert. That is what you will click on.

3 Now I will click on the insert and it will have thumbnail or full image there. I will upload that image as full sized.

The maximum files size for images is 10240kb.

There is a 2nd way to add an image. Copy it from some place (right click copy) and then put your cursor in your message and paste (right click paste)

I did a right click copy of this image and then I am pasting it here.

And the last way to post an images is to look at the top bar and choose the little picture image

Click on it and get this box:

Once you fill in, then follow the instructions.

I mostly use either the direct upload or the copy/paste.

Private Messages are called Conversations in this software.

You will access them by looking at the little envelope at the top right of the forum page.

When you have a new conversation (PM) you will see a small number next to the envelope.

To start a new conversation, click on the envelope and look for the "Start a Conversation"

When you click on the "Start a new conversation" the box below opens . You will need to fill in the member name/s, the title and the message.

The pink arrow at the bottom is showing where I do not recommend you to click. That will make it impossible for you to receive a reply.

When you have finished, you will click on that Start a conversation button at the bottom.

When you want to set your time zone, or other preferences this is the link that you will use:

It comes from the User Control Panel that shows when you click on your member name in the upper right corner of the page.

Please click on each and explore the settings.

Thank you, Angie, for the excellent instructions. It always takes a little time to get comfortable with changes, and these posts will help a lot.

How to find threads and own posts:

Scroll to the top until the second line appears,
New posts - - - Find Threads - - - Watched - - - Search Forums

First one is obvious.
I use "Find Threads" most, click on the little arrow to get to "Your Threads", "Threads with your posts" and "unaswered threads" - quite useful feature.

If you want to find all posts of a User:

Click on the username to get to the Profile, and then click on the little Number under "Messages".

Not hard to find, but it took me some time when first encountering this kind of software.

There is a way to safe a post or a thread. Look on the far right of the blue bar above a thread/post. There will be a bookmarker icon.

1621882605274.png

Once you click on that you will have the option to fill this box out.

1621882685073.png

You can fill that in.

Then when you want to find them. Just look to that User Control Panel and the tab on the right is Bookmarks

1621882558776.png

This is what it looks like if you click on the bookmarks tab.

1621884650234.png

And you have drop down menus on each bookmarked thread.
