The 4 in there are stacked over each other. So yea, I can add poop boards, maybe even do 3 high if I get a little step stool.

DH seems to be behind me. Going to start redoing all the cages to 2x2ft, 3 high. Move the chickens into the run after I make them a roof. Then use the old AC room thing we have in there.

Maybe if I hung them all along the dog fence under the mulberry tree and used those plastic roof panels it would work. Much cooler under the tree than out in the sun for sure!
Going to pick up some wire and possibly some of the roof panels if they fit. Rabbits don't sell fast enough for me no to change my mind. Need to pick out 2 others to fill the rest. Hung it under the tree, next to the coop on the dog yard's fence. Nice and cool under there all the time, no sun at all.
Caught the freeranging rabbit, been trying to catch him for weeks. He scratched me up real good...Tossed him into a cage and when I came back around to give him food/water, I checked him over. Small but nice fur and shape to him. Then I found out he cut one testicle and punctured another. I can only assume it happened when the 9 growers kept escaping and he got into a fight with one of them. Or he did it jumping out of the yard through the barbed wire, who knows. Not sure what to do with him, will have to think it over for a bit.
Need to get 30in floor wire to fix up 2 cages, found out 30in cage is far too deep for sure. Could hardly reach the rabbit in it.
Made a 2 hole cage from some reused wire, will move the LH pair in there at some point. They still act like babies, asexual babies with no interest in such things.
So then, 3 holes in the hutches, 2 cages being fixed up, 1 being freed, 2 left in the long cage, 1 open on the outside coop wall and 1 other on the coop wall will be freed tomorrow when the growers sell off. 10 spots, 5 rabbits left on grass. Time to find a new AmChin buck and a new Blue SF doe. Anyone have those for sale?
