I have a closed watering system.

City water goes thru a pressure regulator then to the nipples. Is there a way to add ASV to a closed system like this?

thanks

You could have a tank in between. That way you can add it to the tank before it goes to the rabbits.

There are expensive systems kind of like a soda machine set up. Instead of syrup and water it would be ACV and water.

Just my thoughts.

I'm not sure I understand.

So you mean to put the tank AFTER the presure regulator and before the rabbits, like this:

City-> presure regulator-> ASV TANK -> rabbits.

Won't the tank over flow because of the constant flow from the pressure regulator?

Thanks for replying.

City line ~ tank (1gal+) with a cap at the top to place ACV~ lines to rabbits.

The link above is Grumpy's watering system.

Close line to rabbit.
Open line to city water allow to fill.
Once the tank is filled close line to city water and add ACV.
Open line to rabbits.

Depending on the size of the tank will depend on how hands on you need to be.
That's how I would do it.

Ooohhhhh. I see. I'm not like that idea. I had the bucket head tank before and hated it. It was always dirty, grew algae and a pia to constantly deal with its cleanup. I switched to a pressure regulator after city directly to the rabbits and never looked back! I have valves at the end of the lines to flush out the lines every few weeks. There has to be a way to add in the ASV without closing off the city line and a tank to monitor and maintain.

I don't think so. The only way I can imagine that thing works is like a vacuum pump - you would need considerable water flow to get it working.

Manual says 3 gallons per minute minimum, that needs a lot of bunnys, start building cages ;)
