Well, our first litter is doing very well and is two weeks old today. Just wondering how soon to re-breed our cali doe?

Depends on the doe's condition, how many litters you want in a year and when you want the kits to be weaned. If you rebreed her now, the kits will likely be weaned at about 4 weeks, as the doe prepares for the new litter. If you wait another 2 weeks, the doe will likely wean them between 4 and 6 weeks and have a little break between litters. There are no "right" answers, just choices. But the doe's condition, IMO, should always be the deciding factor... and you do not have to do the same thing each time.

Jensbuns,
I re-breed the Does [when applicable]
when the kits are four weeks old, wean at six weeks and the Dam
has two weeks to herself before her next litter is expected.
It works for me and my Herd. Whatever works for you is the right choice.
