So every spring most of my herd starts sneezing and about stops my heart until I remember we did it last year. And the year before that and before that and.......................

But as I would LOVE to not have a yearly heart attack I really would like to breed that out of my herd.

So how does one go about breeding something out of a herd that only shows symptoms once a year?

I think its the oak trees doing it as they also blast my eyes and nose each spring.

Honestly, when I've come across it in the MR and HL...that rabbit doesn't stay. I'd be taking a very close look to see who sneezes "less" or not at all during those times and work towards breeding mostly from that if a complete start over is not an option. Careful selection of no sneezer or lesser sneezers the next round a must (if decide to try to breed it out).

All but one of my five does sneeze in the spring and she is nice but too lanky to be my only foundation doe for a do over.

As I hold back does throughout the year its hard to get a non sneezer, most of my growout pen was sneezing as well but they are almost done as the oaks are almost through flowering.
