I have someone coming to pick up Maxime in a week, and I'm hoping to breed Hannah to her buck at the same time.

How do I get Hannah to be receptive?

I am going to give her Raspberry tea and dried raspberry cane, plus dandelion greens. I'm giving her more light to make sure she's getting 16hrs of it. What else should she get this week that'll help her get in the mood?

It's not the end of the world if I don't get her receptive, but the girl who's taking Maxime is absolutely insistent that she pay me in some way. I tried telling her "Well, you can pay me by giving her an awesome home!" but that didn't fly, lol. So I figure I should at least try to make her receptive, as she'll be in quarantine either way.

Has anyone actually seen results with these diet enhancements? I know it's stuff people generally recommend but I'm curious as to whether anyone has seen actual results and how long it took.

The things you are doing for her, Bad Habit, are the things I would suggest. You could also add a bit of BOSS or a pinch of flax seed to her diet for the Vitamin E.

And what volume level do you suggest for Barry White?

Take a deep breathe, hold, exhale, repeat, make some tea for yourself and relax
Check her vent beforehand, the colour change still happens. Keep Barry on the low side, rabbit ears are sensitive ;)

Do you have another rabbit to cage her next to? Or maybe another adult doe may spark something.

She's above her mother, and her father is in the same room.

Lol I am pretty relaxed, not fretting, if she doesn't lift then she doesn't lift. But I figure on doing what I can to convince her that she wants another batch of babies, and from this particular buck, because either way she's got to be quarantined after this.

Leaving the lights on really seems too work.Taking does too shows usually makes them in the mood.

boy, did it ever work!! Had a big kerfluffle today with a previous customer showing up with a friend in tow, she was supposed to give her friend her buck, but then changed her mind. So she brought her friend to me to see my rabbits and maybe buy one. Her buck was with her, and she asked my opinion on his colour.

Well, I had seen her buck when she had him listed on kijiji, and LOVED him. He's a broken harlequin/tri-colour, with a GORGEOUS mane, and a very sweet boy. I didn't think Hannah would lift, but thought introducing her to a buck might help her along for Sunday, and if she did lift, I wouldn't be disappointed.

Put them down on the carpet, in a little pen. Hannah did about 2 binkies, then stopped with her butt sky high. We let him cover her twice, and I've been told if I want to breed to Mr. Nibbs again, all I had to do was ask!

For a stud fee, the woman took 3lbs of hay, lol!

She's going to get her daughter to take pictures, both of the doe she bought off me last month, and of Mr. Nibbs for my files.
