What are the basics of the hotot genetics? What's your outcomes when you breed a hotot to a soild colored rabbit?

If it is a purebred Hotot then it is self black, Dutch and broken so bred to a solid you should get 50% solids and 50% broken who all will carry Dutch and self

However, often Vienna and broken rabbits look like Hotot's so if bred to a solid you could get 50% Vienna carriers, 50% broken and if any are both Vienna and broken they could look like Hotot's

So I would be using the soild rabbit to get a certain gene in the gene pool. After that how would I get the hotot markings back?
