Our veterinarian posted a list of homeopathic remedies and supplements, on the bulletin board, at our rescue. I was wondering if someone could tell me which are safe for rabbits, so I can make a 'customized' version of my own.

Homeopathic Remedies & Supplements

Aconite: Fright, anxiety and fear of thunderstorms

Alfalfa: Aids in digestion, fights infection, rich in vitamins, rich in minerals, high in protein

Aloe Vera: Aniti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-microbial, stimulates the immune system

Apis: Bee stings and any shiny swellings

Apple Cider Vinegar: Has potassium for teeth and hair. Aids in reducing pungent odor from urine, stimulates milk in lactating females

Ash: Aids in maintaining proper pH levels

Belladonna: Heat stroke, hot, red ears, and hot spots

Burdock Root: Relieves itchy skin

Calcium: Strong bones and teeth

Carbo Veg: Bloating or gas (settles the stomach is used 15 minutes before eating)

Cayenne: Aids in digestion, makes intestines uninhabitable for worms and parasites, good for heart health, aids with dry and flaky skin

Chamomilla: Vomiting of yellow bile and teething problems

Comfrey (symphytum): Soothing and healing; used to help heal wounds, burns, bruises and strains

Cranberry: Prevents urinary tract infections and crystals, high in antioxidants, prevents plaque formation on teeth, kills unhealthy bacteria

Curled Dock Root: Relieves itchy skin

Dandelions: helps fight GI Stasis

Echinacea (echinacea purpurea): Acts as an antibiotic and stimulates the immune system

Ferrum Phos: Stops bleeding

Garlic: Natural deterrent for fleas and ticks, fights infection, reduces blood pressure, maintains healthy immune system, works as natural antibiotic

Hydrophobinum (or Lyssin): Reactions to rabies vaccine

Hypericum: Stops pain to nerve endings after injury or operations

Ignatia: Grief, insecurity, stress, or sadness

Juniper Berry: For urinary tract disorders

Kelp: Natural source of iodine, improves thyroid health, natural anti-inflammatory, high in iron, anti-oxidants

Mistle Toe Leaf (viscum album): Aids in shrinking cancer

Nux Vomica: Any kind of poisoning; recuperation after anesthesia

Oil of Cedar (cedrus): Anti bacterial, anti-fungal, acaridical (mite tailing)

Omega 3 Oil: Creates shiny and healthy fur, maintains health health, improves mood, improves memory and brain function, reduces allergies, improves eye health, improves energy, maintains blood sugar levels, improves flaky or dry skin

Pectin: Regulates blood pressure and bad cholesterol

Phosphorus: Sound sensitivity

Plantain: Combats diarrhea

Pot Marigold (calendula): Used to soothe inflamed skin. Infusions are given for digestive disorders.

Prickly Lettuce: Entropathic gut stabilizer

Queen Anne's Lace: Tempter for rabbits who aren't eating

Rhus Tox (posion ivy): Rheumatism and itchy, oozing rashes

Seed Oil from Reem (azadirachta indica): Antibacterial; inhibits ringworm

Stone Root: For urinary tract disorders

Sulphur: Skin conditions and mange

Thuja: Reactions to vaccines

Red Clay: Has natural detox properties to eliminate chemicals, preservatives, worms, parasites, and all unnatural and unwanted bacteria from intestines

Rescue Remedy: Stress or trauma

Vitamin C: Helps maintain a healthy immune system, reduces stress, improves skin, antioxidant properties, improves eye health, lowers blood pressure

Vitamin E: Improves skin and hair, promotes healthy heart and respiratory system, supports blood circulation, controls mood
 
I would be interested to know HOW they are used (i.e. topically, internally, raw plant parts, infusions, etc.)

She didn't say, and I didn't have the chance to ask.

I know she made a paste out of some things on that list for one of the dogs at the rescue, and applied it topically.
