My doe was due Friday. I haven't had a litter from her for a year. I was getting discourage and thinking it was time for her to go. She started pulling her Tuesday when I put the nest box in but was doing anything with it so I figure maybe false pregnancy. Saturday afternoon I went out to check on everyone and she had a surprise for me. 5 of the cutest kits ever. They look super wild I am in hopes that at least 2 are females because I am keeping them. I couldnt help myself I had to add more pics. Any ideas on what the colors are going to be? The doe is tort black and the buck is broken black

Well, it looks like she figured out where to put her fur, after all! :)

Congratulations on the litter!

Well I use believe it or not litter pans made for kittens. It works. But also something to keep in mind is I live in Florida and so far we have had 1 week of weather in the 30's right now is 54. We do get a little wind but they are blocked from that.
I am planning on building some real nest box but as of right now we are in the process of building 40 new bird cages and 30 new rabbit cages and I am wanting to try the drop down nest. Any advise on them would be good. Thanks
