He's eating chicken food

E.B. the flemish giant is our yard bunny, he has no cage just hops around where he wants to. Here lately he has decided that he likes the chicken food, they eat layers crumble. Is this going to cause some sort of problem? I dont want him to get sick, but I cant keep him out of the coop!

I had a free running Holland Lop who loved cat food. I had to feed the cat indoors so the bunny wouldn't get into it.

Good question....My house buns hop around under the parrot cage and eat all the dropped seed. There are some "protein pellets" in the mix, but it's mostly grain. It makes them too heavy. The vet told me that my Rex HAD to go on a diet! I"m sure your yard rabbit is getting enough exercise to compensate.

Read the ingredients on the bag. If there are any weird additives, let us know.
