This young doe is the bigger of the two I'm growing out. I prefer my polish smaller, but I think she's the better of the two, but not sure. I struggle with pinched rear ends and strongly DISLIKE does that can't kindle well. Is this doe pinched or fine???

Broken Black junior doe

This one often poses with her head up which I find odd, and she has this odd wearing on her back feet which I don't like but don't know what causes it. I'm thinking that she is pinched??? But wanting some confirmation on that. She is small and tidy which I like, but that feet thing alarms me. I doubt she'll grow out of it either...

I don't want to keep her if she's going to have problems kindling. Been there, done that, really really dislike it.

Both these does were born in September.
Thanks for your assistance.

no thoughts from anyone??? Or am I being too ... impatient? :)

Its hard to tell from pictures, but I wouldn't keep either of them for show rabbits based on pictures alone.
I don't care for the ears on either of them. Both appear to be very long, especially for winter babies. If bred to a buck with genetically longer ears, you may have a problem.
I also don't like the body shape of the first doe - broken chocolate. I can't tell about pinched hips without feeling, but I don't like being able to see a hip line either. I prefer my body shapes to be smooth and rounded.
The second doe appears to be fairly large - OK for brood but not showing. She also appears to be somewhat narrow in the hips, and sits on her back feet funny, as evidenced by the sore hock appearance. I can't tell if they really are, or if it's just dirt, but a jr shouldn't really have either problem.

The coloring is nice on the second doe, I like the broken black around her face. Would prefer more coloring on the first doe, but that is probably just my own preference.

So, without putting hands on, that's the best I can do. Sorry if it wasn't what you were hoping for, and remember, when I was into Polish over a decade ago, there weren't any brokens, and even very few blues, so the standard may have changed some since then.

I like the colouring on the second as well, she's actually quite a tiny doe.. doubt she'll even clear 2.5 lbs at this point.

I don't like how she sets back on her feet...she's always dirty. No damage, just a dirty youngster.

The fact that the bigger of the two (the chocolate) sets funny on her feet abit as well really makes me wonder what's going on with that.

It's confirming that perhaps I should not keep the smaller doe as I don't think I can correct her issues NOR do I want to continue that foot problem.

I like the head on the second doe, but I would also be leery of keeping her because of how she sits and thewear on her hocks. As she gets older and heavier (from pregnancy) it could get worse. On the first one, the ears are a bit long and it may just be her pose, but it looks like her shoulders are just a bit long...nice depth tho! I agree that she doesn't have very smooth lines in the top view. I like her width better than the other one.

do you know what causes a bun to sit wrong on her feet? this kit has had this from day of weaning. she doesn't get sore as I keep a close eye on her, but she doesn't sit square and I'm not sure what that means. The other doe has it a bit, but not like this kit does.

Funny but I think the second doe has a way less pinched hind end than the first..BUT.. I think that wear pattern is from the angle of her hocks in other words almost like a "splay-leg" issue but not quite that dramatic. The first shows it too but way less and further back on her hocks right at the end. The second doe is really cute and i like her head and ears, she does seem to have a higher headset which may be whats making her back end problem a little worse.

Can you take a picture from the rear? That is the easiest way to see pinched HQ's...
