So today is Easter and God didn't resurrect Clyde so I'm off to picking out a new buck for my Rabbitry. I have never had a rabbit good enough to show, but mabee some day, who knows. If any of you have time to tell me what some of the bad things are about this rabbit I sure would like to hear them cause I think he is one of the best son's of Clyde I have.

He peaks a bit early over the loin, should be back a bit farther. Could use SLIGHTLY more depth of rise. 75% of senior weight at just over four months? The only thing I see and it could just be the fact he's arguing with you about posing, his back feet don't look quite straight. What do they look like when you flip him?

He's horrifically deformed and you need to get rid of him as soon as possible, send him to me and I'll do it for you

Ok, as you can tell by now, I have no Idea what fliping a rabbit is but I looked it up on You Tube. Also here is a better photo of his side view, he was a little more cooperatable after he ate his breakfast.

looks like he has pinched hips,

just a question, what color is he? I had a mini lop same color as him

Seconded, make sure your does are straight in the rear and you ahould be fine. And if you keep anything from him, make sure they don't look like this. The object of the game is to improve our stock and that's how it's done whether we're breeding for show or meat. He's by no means the worst I've seen though

Someone post a rabbit with straight back feet, cus I can't recall any buns with feet that didn't go out when you flip them...

Yeah his back legs turn in a little but if your does are all super-straight in the back end, it might be ok. :)
Very interesting, I learn somthing everyday. :goodjob:

If nobody else has posted later on I'll flip my Mini Rex and have a photo shoot, they're straight as an arrow in the back legs. :)

I found one.
