The woman who sold them to me knew....not much. Her daughter bred them for 4H, without much thought.

I have an otter, (his pedigree says black but I think he is chocolate, can I change it?)

Sorry, for the weird pics, I don't have a posing stand up yet, and he runs to me as soon as I open the door to his cage for loves.

Is this foot fur normal or a DQ?

In just a few minutes I am going to go make my nighttime rounds and get pics of the others. Thanks!

Pretty sure she is a charlie, mom and all sibs looked just like her, her dad is a broken lilac. We call her Juniper

Juniper's pedigree says she is a blue charlie

I also have a sable buck, but he wasn't feeling photogenic. (found one)

Okay, my two cents are as follows:

Black otter, foot fur looks normal, definitely a blue charlie, and that looks like a seal, not a sable.

I agree with Cspr - black otter. He may look chocolate, but that is black either sun burnt or getting ready to molt. Don't change the pedigree.

I also agree with blue Charlie on the mostly white rabbit. The one drinking next to it is broken black.

The bottom may be sable, it may be seal, but I am seeing just a hint of blue, so it could also be a very dark smoke pearl. I don't think the pic is good enough to really be definitive on that one.

Pretty rabbits.

I'd say seal. They range from looking all black to dark chocolate. Sables are a sepia brown. Poorly bred seals and sables can have a hint of grey or bluish to them from the undercoat.
