Height for Food

I read that the ideal height for water is 8” from the bottom. What about food?

Maybe you could put it high enough where that have to get on their back feet and can't dig out of it

my feeders are up three inches. for my meat rabbits, I put my waterers as high as I can and still have the support needed for the bottle. that's usually about 10-11 inches. When I have kits I drop to about 7-8 inches.

Thank you!!! I need to cut the wire for the feeders, and want to get it right the first time. They are wasting a lot of feed!!!
