I finally got some pictures of my new broken chocolate mini rex, Hazelnut! She is a bit shy, but we are working on that. She was bred to a broken chocolate buck at the breeders house, so hopefully I will have a litter of chocolates next month. I hope she gains some weight though, We got her so my son could show her and at almost 10 months old she only weighs 2 pounds 13 ounces :x

What a pretty girl! If she doesn't make weight you have a very nice brood doe! Your son can look forward to picking out a kit from her as a show prospect. My kids have been handling their babies all the time to get them ready for a future show career- if they are entered in showmanship I think a calm, easily positioned rabbit will help a lot!
Oh dear, Sistah... not Nutella, too?!? :shock: That is a staple here- we must have a dozen jars in our emergency food storage! Life without some form of chocolate would be too dismal to contemplate... :lol:

Hazelnuts are my all time favorite from-the-shell nut! I should really look into buying some hazelnut bushes if they will grow here.
I have to have some of those Hazelnut bunnies, too- we've got that covered with the upcoming bunnyswap though!
