Has anyone had any luck with feeding fresh greenbeans or sweet peas? I keep reading mixed info on the beans for peas seem to be ok. I only find dry peas tho. I have dedicated a portion of my garden to a bunny plot. I have spinach, greens (very sparingly and just to try), carrots, parsnips, beets, a variety of herbs, radishes, kale, squash, lettuce, alfalfa, sunflowers....

Are you talking about the flower pea or the vegetable pea? I don't think (but don't know)the flower pea is edible, the vegetable pea and vine is though.

Garden peas are Pisum sativum and all above ground parts are edible for rabbits.

Sweet peas are Lathyrus odoratus and, as far as I know, are not safe for rabbits.

Some people feed young green beans before the seeds really develop. Mature beans should not be fed to rabbits. The foliage, provided it is not mildewy or mouldy, is safe.
