Okay, I am packing for the next move-- and came across a book a bought to help with a research paper that some of you maybe interested in.
The title is "Weeds of the Northern US and Canada" by France Royer and Richard Dickinson. Published by The University of Alberta Press and Lone Pine Publishing. Topns of color photos, all stages od the plants life, including seedlings and seeds. ALSO--many of the plants have toxic livestock dosages listed!!!
Now granted, we don't consider a lot of plants as 'weeds' when we feed fresh to our rabbits, but, for this book, 'weed' is an official designation by our 'governments' because of the interference the plants have on agricultural cash crops.
I am keeping this book out for a while-- ancake:
