Fur, not hides

Anyone have any ideas for making something with shed/pulled rabbit fur? I have the fur from a nest my doe made when she had a false pregnancy. It's really soft... maybe a pillow?

I think it would compact too much for pillow stuffing, but if you felted the fur, you could put it on the outside of a pillow.

Thanks! I know what felted fur is, but how do you felt fur? I love making things, but I've never done anything with furs.
