When I was a little kid, my dad would be gone for weeks at a time for work.
Curious I asked him what his job was. He told me he was an engineer, working for the government and he couldn't say more about it.
Being a little kid, I didn't know there were many types like mechanical engineers, electrical engineers etc. so silly me... I thought he drove a train. Which I thought was really cool. And it made perfect sense why he was rarely home.
But silly me, I thought he was just off driving his train somewhere.
While that's mildly funny, the absolute hysterical part was... I was in high school when I finally figured it out!
Very disappointed but also very funny!
