So, I have a litter of three kits, who are 5 weeks old tomorrow. One of the bucks has a weird belly. What happens is, my dog had killed two of the kits in the litter so I moved the three inside to protect them. The mother makes indoor cages disgustingly dirty, so I put her in the cage in the morning and night to nurse them. In the morning, I check on the kits belly. It feels absolutely normal. After the doe nurses them, I put in their small bowl of pellets, which they finish off quickly, and some hay. After they have finished I check on him again. His belly has the weird problem again. It is like I can feel his stomach, or something, and it feels hard, but only in the one area in a specific shape so that's why I think it might be his stomach. When I put the doe back in at night, it feels almost gone, and in the morning it's back to normal again. So it seems that it happens after he eats. it is like this every day, and I noticed it a week ago. He is eating, drinking, nursing, he is VERY active just like the other kits, and he doesn't seem to be in any pain. The other kits have nothing like this. I have never seen this before. Has anyone experienced this? Is it a problem? I am hoping it is not because someone is interested in buying him when he is old enough.

Hi, sorry the last few days have been busy.

I have started weaning them. Is this pic okay? I can take more if needed.
