The short question: Will floride from city water adversely effect rabbits development or breedability?

Long story:
I am currently in the city with the wonderful people "preventing" cavities with fluoridated water.

I won't share my thoughts besides that I filter my personal drinking water and in summer use rain water for the rabbits.

Now that it's winter I have been using warm tap water for them since I would be using almost half my daily drinking water for just them.

I know what is ideal but will the 4 to 5 months of city water mess them up? Should I just figure it in as a necessary expense and filter there city water too?
Anyone observe anything or read articles about it?
We are what we eat I guess. :(

This is where rabbits used as laboratory animals comes in handy. There's loads of scientific papers on it, although you have to interpret the scientific language.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10089229/ This one seems to indicate better bone density using fluoride water?

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/287745085_Toxic_effects_of_fluoride_on_rabbit_kidney These folks looked at kidney issues with fluoride water. At low doses, they didn't seem to find any problems, but at high doses, it caused some kidney problems.

https://biomedpharmajournal.org/vol...f-calcium-in-prevention-of-fluoride-toxicity/ These folks gave the rabbits fluoride as well as calcium and had better results. Not sure how large the amount they gave the bunnies in relation to what it would be if they got it from drinking water, but I'm guessing it is a much higher amount.

https://academic.oup.com/toxsci/article/30/2/162/1638724 These folks found "In the high-dose group of both studies there was an initial decreased maternal body weight gain which recovered over time and a decreased water consumption—attributed to decreased palatability. No clear clinical signs of toxicity were observed. Maternal exposure to sodium fluoride during organogenesis did not significantly affect the frequency of postimplantation loss, mean fetal body weight/litter, or external, visceral or skeletal malformations in either the rat or the rabbit."

Since they didn't seem to find much in the high-dose group, probably a low dose of fluoride from municipal water won't hurt your rabbits. But a bit of calcium could perhaps be added? Maybe a layer of oyster shell in their water dish? That should leach a bit of calcium into the water without having to keep buying supplements?
