First litter of American Blues at One Acre Farm Rabbits!

My American Blue doe, Liberty Bell, gave me 6 fat little blues today! Poor thing, was late getting her a nest box and today was her due date. As soon as I gave her some hay, she starting nesting, so I put the box in and after a bit she was pulling fur. I just went out and found 6 plump blue kits in the nest, cleaned, fed and covered with fur. Proud Papa, George W., was watching from across the aisle...

Thanks! I wanted a Heritage breed, and Americans were the only ones I could get nearby. I originally wanted American Chinchillas but could not find any around here.

Aren't Americans wonderful? In the morning when I take them breakfast treats they all want to snuggle and play a bit before they turn to their food. None of my friends have rabbits anywhere near as friendly!
