Hubs went out to feed rabbits and came back saying that Roxie was walking around her cage with single stalk of hay in her mouth...not eating it but just carrying it around....so we gave her a box and hay and WOW! is she ever going to town! She is due 12/13 so about a week out...this is her second litter. She was a great mom the first time so I am expecting the same this time.

What??? The hubs went out and fed the bunnies? I nominate O.A.F.'s hubs for the next 'Husband of the Year Award'. Can I get anyone to 2nd the nomination?

Congrats on the "hay mustache"... aside from us "bunny-obsessed", probably only the non-shaving Europeans would be excited by a gal with a mustache. :rotfl: (Before you accuse me of racism, I'm a 1st generation American from Danish stock... I can tease my relatives if I want to. So there.)

Anyway, hope you get lots of popples in a week. And give your Hubs a kiss, because he's a good guy.

My fiance would screw everything up w/any of my animals, so hes not even allowed.
I can only hope my does get it right this time. I'm only putting in shavings because last time they just sat there ****ing and eating[w/kits or w/o] and pissing me off oh so very much...

Went out this morning and she has pulled fur...maybe she will kindle early? Last time, admittedly I didn't know she WAS bred so she was not given a nest box, she delivered one day after pulling fur...

Woo Hoo! Go Roxie Go!! :bunnyhop: Good luck with her, I hope you get lots of healthy fat popples!
