I've heard alot of reasons why different breeders won't use it for their rabbits.

For me, it's a filler that really doesn't do much for the rabbits from a nutritional standpoint, and it's been linked to some digestive problems. I suppose the same could be said for any of a number of other common ingredients.

What reason do the rest of you use for it? There are no right or wrong answers to the question, but it should make for a good discussion, perhaps even and enlightening one.

I used to give dried corn ears to my pet rabbits all of time. With the whole switch from dog food to raw, I have become really anti corn for no real reason.

My understanding is that corn will produce a yellow fat-- and if there is any fat on a dressed rabbit, it should be white, not yellow.
But, I noticed in thepast, whole dried corn was not a favorite of my rabbits--nor of my sheep.A friend told me NEVEr to feed a whole dried kernal corn to her horses- to them it would be like chewing on rocks!
So, when I did feed corn, I soaked it, as part of a warm wet food for winter energy. I will stick a fresh cob in the pens occasionally. They do love the copbs of the sweet corn..
