:roll: Okay, this isn't a surprise, fat does generally don't kindle 
I bought an overweight DT doe and have unsuccessfully tried to get her pregnant a few times. This time I palpated at 12 days, felt a kit, and today is day 32. I palpated again and felt the same lump as on day 12 but it seems much bigger, like a bit smaller than a golf ball size. :shock: What could it be? Before I got her I was told she had had a litter before but the kits died in the heat, and they said she was a good mother....don't know if that makes a difference. Could it be that her uterus is just enlarged? Or a mummified fetus is still there? I don't get it, this time she made a nest and pulled fur and everything so I was surprised when I didn't feel kits kicking.
