I have Probias but was curious about using "Fastrack". Probias is a powder making it easy to sprinkle on food. Fastrack is granular but I figured it could go in a bowl on some oats and/or BOSS or sprinkle some on some greens still wet with morning dew. Goats get a teaspoon or so on their food so rabbits would only need a dab. Just curious.
Ingreds for Fastrack
Yeast culture, rice hulls (10%), calcium carbonate, dried chicory root, dried Enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried Apergillus oryzae fermentation extract, dried Bacillus subtilis fermentation extract

Check and see if the bacteria are the same...I know with ProBios, I get the horse variety instead of the goat variety. If it is the same, then I don't see a problem.

Here's how I figure if a medicine or supplement can cross species - if it is horse, I say usually yes, because they have almost the same digestive tract as a rabbit. If it is for a ruminant, then no.

On the bag it lists ruminants, hogs, horses and poultry. So my guess is no b/c ruminants is listed. They do share some of the same ingreds. but Probias also has L. casei, L. plantarum and sodium thiosulfate.
Thank guys, it was just a thought. :)

Actually, if it lists all of those, I would say go ahead. Use the poultry dosage.

Yep, as long as it says "horses" you can use it for rabbits too. :)
