I may have created a new little problem for I think my junior doe is going through a false pregnancy, but I am not sure. This is because I have bred her twice, once on 10/25 and once on 11/09. That would make today the 31st day for the initial breeding and 16th day for the next breeding. Which, if I understand correctly, is a bit lat for her to start pulling her hair out which she started doing last night. She has also started being more aggressive again. I am almost certain though that it is a false pregnancy. The reason is that the buck only got a few thrusts before she escaped the first breeding and he properly fell off the second breeding.

When a rabbit decides to start pulling fur is highly variable and really depends on the doe, so you might have a late puller - most of mine pull the day they kindle or after :(

Or a very early puller - one of my mini lops starts nest building a week after she's bred :D

Nah, no problem! You wrote the dates down, after all! :p

Just make sure she has her nestbox. I think someone recently posted about a doe kindling after all, without them seeing the buck fall off properly. :?

I hope she gives you a nice litter... whenever she decides to do it! ;)

Well...so much for it being false. Still dont like the outcome. From what I can tell the junior doe's very first litter consisted of only 3 kits. 1 of whom is dead already. The other two are nice and snug under hay and fir in the box. Kind of concerned that I found the dead kit outside the box. I am hoping she started birthing outside and after the dead kit was born she jumped in the box to have the other two. kind of worried she dragged him out of the box after the fact. Anyhow, I got it inside to warm it up, but it stayed dead. noticed when I was cleaning their trays that it looked like she peed more than normal today. I dont recall the senior doe doing the same thing when she gave birth.
