So I have a breeder friend who has asked me to help dispatch her rabbits. I guess she got caught up with Christmas and the holidays etc, I can totally relate, and didn't check on her Christmas kits until it was a bit too late. They are now four weeks old and their eyes aren't open yet. Is there anything that can be done for these holland babies or is culling the only option? Thank you

Based off experience with other animals and eye issues, I would try gently wiping their eyes with some warm water and a washcloth. Sure couldn't hurt anything.....

If they are full of puss the eye ball is likely permenantly damaged or even disolved away

Other than opening the eye, is there any way to tell if the eye is damaged or salvageable?
