eye problem

I've been trying to figure out what this is for awhile now. The doe has a little half circle at the bottom of her iris that sticks out some. I've seen similar pictures diagnosed as everything from parasites to pastuerella. The doe otherwise looks healthy, is not skinny, there is no watering of the eye, and I saw her 4month old offspring that were all healthy. I can't determine if she has vision in the eye. I figured it was just some type of injury or something else benign but all the speculation of other things that I'm finding on the internet is slightly concerning. I'd rather not incur vet bills for this BUD but I would like to get a litter out of her. She should be due in a little over a week.

I agree that is doesn't quite look like E.cuni

Rabbits can get cataracts either spontaneously or from an old eye injury.

If you don't have any other symptoms like wry neck, odd urine or leaky bladders or random unexplained deaths in your herd then I wouldn't worry too much.

I would treat it with some Terramycin, it dosen't look like E. cuni but it very well could be. Better safe than sorry!
