Kits today are 19 days old. I caught them eating & drinking at 17 days but they were a little skittish. Now they are more brave. Eating & drinking out of Doe's bowl so now they have their own.

I am loving these bowls. Ceramic & the odd lip swoop down lower. The kits enjoy eating while sitting in the bowl. I put the bowl on the 2nd level so Doe could easily reach to eat without it becoming a "potty" bowl. Kits found their way up even though they have food & water on the 1st level.

I can feed hickory and maple twigs with leaves, correct? was going to give them some hickory tomorrow. some say maple leaves are ok but not the wood. hmmm i haven't had a problem.

the wood right attached to the leaves of green-leafed/sugar maples is just fine for bunnies. I've never found rabbits to like even slightly older wood from maple trees. I don't know about hickory.
