My male rabbit has a problem with his ears (noticed it yesterday but looked like he had just scratched himself) but now I'm not so sure. Is it ear mites as doesnt look like any of the pictures I've seen online.

The only other thought is prehaps fleas, my cats have recently got them and been treated but they don't have direct contact with the rabbits but presume one could have got on my clothes and taken it out there?

Thanks for the reply, I attempted to remove them and it doesnt seem to be ear mites, just scabs (which in itself is a concern)

Thanks does look like it might be that (and think I've been bitten as well o_O) gonna go get some citronella for in the shed and see if it gets better, seems odd its just my buck prehaps hes just really tasty :p

Flies are very attracted to white animals, so if your other rabbits aren't white that would explain their attraction to him.

They are all white although he is by far the messiest (which isn't helped by the fact they are in wooden hutches) >.<
