My convention rabbits are home and settled. All of them met every expectation and I'm thrilled to have them.
My buck, Top Shelf Bourbon, is a big, handsome guy. At only 8 months old, he's won himself 4 legs, 2 for BOB, and he is going to turn into one solid, massive buck. I haven't taken new pics since they've arrived, but here is his "sale" picture.
My doe, Whip Cream & Brandy, is even nicer. At 8 months old, she's won herself 2 legs, both for BOB, then got a nick in her ear that ended her show career. If anything, she's even a little bigger and bulkier than Bourbon. Again, not a new pic, but her "sale" pic.
I've bred these 2 together and have high expectations for the coming litter. She's due the first week of December. I'm hoping with both of them being broken patterned, that I will still get very few charlies, since both of them are very heavily patterned. Still, that is really my biggest concern.
Both bunnies have the sweetest personalities, and while Dec is not the best time to have bunnies in Okla, that should give me a good start for the spring show season. Just for good measure, I also bred him to one of my original does, the broken blue steel, so I would hopefully have 2 milking does if something were to happen to either of them. Between them, should have a barn full of bunnies come Christmastime.
