[Hi there, I'm new here, but I've been looking into dwarf hotots for months and I've absolutely fallen in love with the breed. I found a breeder within 20 minutes of me who just had a litter, and I've told her that I'm interested in one. I hope to show and possibly breed in the future. I was wondering you guy's opinions on the babies and the parents, because I'm new at this and I may miss something someone more experienced than I would catch. Here's the pictures:

Dang it. I'll try to get them up on photobucket or something.
I went to try to fix your images, but yes, you'll need to get them up on photobucket, or in the gallery here at RabbitTalk.

You can also upload them directly to your post as an attachment. Here's a tutorial for that: attachment-tutorial-t5.html They would need to be on your computer, though, if I'm not mistaken... I don't think you can upload them directly from your gmail account.

Welcome to RabbitTalk, 12lawliet12! :welcomewagon:

Hotots are gorgeous! I look forward to seeing yours.

Hopefully this time it'll work. I was on my phone when I originally posted this, and it wouldn't let me upload the pictures directly from my phone.

Kinda hard to judge them from the pics but they are cute.
I'm wishing you the best on your new venture with Hotots. :)

Yes that Breed shows up occasionally at the shows here in Florida. A show coming up here January 5th DeLand might be a good chance to see them. There is also a discussion about this breed on the Florida FaceBook page, not sure if you are part of that or seen it. Beautiful breed, it a shame the Hotot is not more popular.

I have a a a pair that have a great pedigree, paid up the ying yang for, and I have had nothing but bad experiences with them! ( not to say yours are bad) mom doesn't make a nest, have very small litters (2-3) but only one out of 3 of my litters have survived. we get a "peanut" in every litter which supposedly means both parent are true dwarfs. This is our first dwarf breed (only had for 4 months) I raise 4 other breeds and none give me as much trouble. Now for the finale 60% of the issues were my fault, I didn't have the right size nest box the first 2 times and the 3rd time the litter died from heat. I find the breed to be a little skittish. But other wise I rate them an 8 out of 10 :)

These are the only pictures I have of them. The breeder texts me updates weekly, I'll ask for correctly posed pictures. I have pick of the litter, but I don't know which one I want.

just giving you hard time miss m, don't feel bad about "power reading" if post are normally over 4 sentences long my ADD takes over and I skip certain things. I find the hotots to be pretty rare also.

Oh, no, you didn't! It was embarrassing, but I could tell you were teasing. So I was horrified, but I was laughing, too!
