I'm wondering if my dwarf hotot is show quality. She's my first ever show rabbit and I honestly have no idea what I'm doing, so it'd be great if more experienced people could give me a good critique of her

I don't know anything about the "standard" for hotot (or any rabbit for that matter) but do you have a copy or can you get a copy of what the standard is?

@cnichols- where would I get that? Do you know?

@Jollysrabbits- thanks! I'm not really sure how to pose her though. This is my best approximation. Do you have any tips?

What a cute little rabbit! :p

It is hard to tell in the photos, but it doesn't look like she actually has any black fur around her eyes, just black eye rims. :?

www.arba.net

There is an online store where you can purchase one on that website, or you can attend most local shows and buy one from the equipment vendor.

Ideal weight for bucks and does is 2 1/2 lbs, maximum 3lbs.

The band of black fur around the eyes should be the width of two pennies. I don't see black fur around your rabbit's eyes- if she doesn't have a complete band of black fur around the eyes, she will be disqualified.

This link has pictures of good versus poor type:
