I have a smoke pearl doe that has white markings. I have bred her to a smoke pearl buck who has a white nose. I assumed I would get BEWs as they appear Vienna. But no. In the first litter there were 1 out of 6 kits had white markings. In this litter it would appear 3 out of 4. But no BEWs.
I am now thinking one or both parents have the Dutch gene instead.
I don't know their parents colors. In their litters, from what was not already sold, there were no BEWs and at least half had markings.
I don't really care what genes they have, but it would be interesting to know.
