I really didn't have anywhere to dry my pelts that wouldn't get in the way of someone. So I was told to "MacGyver" something.

Well I did, and I finally found a use for all those trophies I have taking up space. The pelts fit perfectly over top of them, and they allowed air to circulate through them.

9 Pelts (2 champagne, 1 Brun, 6 Champagne X Dutch)

That you do

I forgot I put them there, it was quite hilarious the next morning waking up to it.

DevonW - I looked through your posts and could not find how you tan. What recipe do you use? Please. :)

I use salt and alum. I was afraid it was going to be really hard to tan but was pleasantly surprised when it hardly took any work at all.

I have a doe that has not taken, and may be going to fc soon. She is a walking chow hound. Thank You, she is a sr and should have a good pelt, in a few weeks.
:thankyou:
