They have excavated tunnels under those Warrens. Plenty of places to hide and have kits. The insulated tops I have sit on top of straw bales. The big warren connects to an insulated former dog house that I tuned into multiple level and the lid flips open.
The trees in the compound give lots of shade in summer.
