We have four dogs! I also have a Riley, she's an AKC black lab but nothing special - initially I wanted to show/breed her but she's mostly one of those AKC dogs that just has the fancy registration. She's also dumb as a brick. I have Buddy, a 1/2 lab 1/2 blue heeler. He's really something special, looks a lot like a black german shepherd, and is so SO smart. Then we have Copper and Todd, our beagles. Copper is 1/4 Jack Russel and 3/4 Beagle, lemon and white and very fat. She's out of renowned rabbit dogs from VA and it shows, we cannot have her anywhere near the rabbits. Todd is an AKC reg bluetick beagle and I really would like to show him. He's really a beautiful dog, but a major handful. He howls at literally everything, has a wicked short attention span, and teeth like needles. I'm looking into bringing in a female from another state since most of the beagles in AZ are related and I'd like to try my hand at breeding. I've always been mildly, ah, 'curious' about the dog show world and it's something I'd love to get into.
