Does a Standard Rex need a pedigree to show?

The breeder we got our SRs from STILL has not sent the pedigrees and we have someone wanting to buy one of the ones we have bred to show in the county fair but their 4H leader has said the rabbit MUST have a pedigree to be showable.

True?

I thought a rabbit had to be true to type AND be owned for at least 6 months to be showable.

4h have rules different from ARBA - the rabbit could likely be shown in a non purebred category but not with the other papered Standard Rex.

Try calling the breeder and writing down the pedigree names and make your own pedigree until they get their act together and mail you a copy

I forgot to say its the county fair that she wants to show in.

The breeder has said she will email them to me. Am in her in box every day now.

Good suggestion about calling and writing it down, shall do so if she doesn't come through with emailing them today.
