Have a doe that kindled 10 days ago and looks like she's been eating her fur. Original nest was full of fur - cleaned out the box today because there was nearly no fur at all. Put fresh hay in for the little ones - they all are fine. Read somewhere that it was a sign that she's lacking something in her diet....protien? Always been a great mother and have never seen this behavior in her or any of my other does. Do I not worry about it? Do I supplement her diet - and, if so, with what? Any advice?
