I was holding one of my step mom's rabbits, and i looked at his mouth while I was holding him. He had white, milky stuff all over his mouth and his nose. I took him upstairs to my step mom, but when we looked again the white was gone, and the space between his nose and mouth was just wet. He does have lots of eye boogery stuff and it clumps up in the fur around his eyes. Is this what it was? Did he throw up? Does he need to go to the vet?

As far as I know, no rabbits do not throw up...has the rabbit been sneezing? Is the insides of his front paws matted or do they look wet? Is it possible to post pictures? That way the more experienced members can give advice..

I haven't noticed him sneezing, and I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow. My step mom is really weird about the rabbits and them being held and stuff..

Many herbivores cannot throw up. Rabbits, guinea pigs, most other rodents, horses..... The stomach valve is one way only and surgery is usually required if enough force is applied to make things go backward. Moisture usually comes from the respiratory tract. If they breath in some water from a bowl or get a lot of dust they might have a mix of water and mucus on their nose and mouth until it wipes away. If they are frequently that way or have other symptoms it could be far more serious though.
