Do kit's eyes change color with time?

So I saw a rabbit the other day with a half brown/blue eye. The owner said, "the eye color changed from all brown to half blue at 3 months old due to Vienna gene." :shock:

I started to think maybe like human babies, that kits eye color changes with age? Are most kits born with the same eye color and start to show the true color at around what age?

Has anyone had kits eye color change on them?

I tried to look it up but could not find an answer... :?

I don't know about eye color change, but I've heard some rabbits have half brown / half blue eyes... Not sure if they were born with them, or if it changed

Some of my chinchilla kits have blue grey eyes as kits but they darken with age and can turn brown.
