I was at the farmer's market today and someone gave me a huge pile of "forage" for the rabbits, including a LOT of corn husks. I have so many I won't be able to feed it fast enough...is there a way to dry it and store it, or to make silage out of it???

You could easily thread them on a piece of string- kind of like a popcorn garland- and hang it in a cool, dry, low light location.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe the basement in the far side, away from the buns...got a dehumidifier going to make sure the basement stays nice and dry, lol.

Thanks guys! :D

There isn't much nourisment in dried corn husks but the rabbits like them and they're good fiber. Be sure to save some for yourself. Corn husk tamales are a lot better than the paper wrapped ones. They release just the right flavor when they are steamed.
