So the past few days I've been looking at my little doe kit and she's been having green, mushy, sticky poop, and it's making her vent very red and irritated. What can I do to help fix this? I've been putting plantain salve on it which is a natural heal all and it's been helping until she messes herself again. She's not cleaning it either. I just don't understand.. To explain my subject name.. I didn't have anywhere to put her and I was cooking and didn't have anyone to take her back out.. Well it just so happened I had a clean empty feed scoop that she fit in perfectly. So I plopped her down in it and she hid in the cup occasionally peaking out with her ears up when people would come in. So I was cooking with my kit lol.. Hope I didn't horrify anyone with my Subject name >~<

You could consider giving her plantain leaves to eat as well. If you cannot find those, leaves of strawberry, raspberry, blackberry or rose are also quite good, and very safe for kits. Grass hay is also great for firming up poo.

Kits with diahrea are very vulnerable to dehydration. If she starts feeling thin, you might consider giving her some electrolyte solution. I favor unflavored pedialyte, but there are a lot of options, both purchased and homemade.

There's the standard oatmeal and grass hay diet that often works by itself. Aside from various forages pumpkin and other squashes can help regulate the digestive tract until the problem is solved. Using fresh foods also means they will get some moisture unlike dry oatmeal and hay. If you want to moisten the oatmeal berry or banana juice/puree is often irrestible and easy on the digestive tract with banana having some constipating effects.

I brought her in over night seeing as her girl parts are very red and puffy *I've been putting plantain salve very carefully around it to help it. It helps but there is still yellow pee stained fur that's clumping together, so don't know what to do about that either* Also I brought her in overnight since last night her parts were pretty puffy and I was concerned. So I watched her overnight *I get up when my kitten is hungry he comes and wakes me up by rubbing himself against my face as well as booping me with his wet nose in the face it's very cute* Her butt stayed pretty clean over night as well as it looks like her poops have hardened. I'm going out on a limb with this one. But could she be allergic to mom's milk? I haven't changed their diet other than adding in some timothy pellets which is something not all of them were to crazy to try, She's only 3 weeks old right now maybe 3.5 I know it's in the 3-4 range but I need to recount my days to be specific.
~~Update since I've started this~~
She's in a cat carrier *Plenty big..* Facing the window where it's nice and warm with water and a little food *We used a peanut can lid we got from Sam's Club and she can fully sit in it* By the way she is a Netherland Dwarf mixed with a New Zealand White/ Chinchilla Cross
