When I had my first rabbit and the overnight temperatures went down to the teens the first time, I stayed up all night checking on her every couple hours. I found her resting on hay and she was toasty warm. After that I don't worry about the cold.
Another winter I once forgot to turn off my gas grill. In the morning I found my free range rabbits in a circle around the grill. It seems while they can stand the cold, they are more comfortable close to the warm grill.

what breed do you have? i have angoras and they do well in the cold
I have mostly Lionhead, Dutch, Mini Lop, and lately French Angora.
Don't know what was my first rabbit but she was short hair medium size.

okay yeah. i think that English angora are best for the cold since they have extra wool on their face, though french do great too. not sure about the other ones tho...but they should be fine with hay and maybe some kind of heat source :)
