Care of clamp tattoo digits?

Got my clamp tattoo set today, so excited! It was hard not to grab the nearest piece of flesh (the cat) and try it out. :lol:

Any suggestions for cleaning after using? I'm thinking a scrubdown with soap and water and a soak in some chlorhexadine before drying and putting away. Would this work?

What do you guys do?

I use a toothbrush and some simple dish detergent to wash them. Let dry, then pack away. Before use, I put everything in alcohol for a few minutes, then put in order, pins up, on paper towel. I swish each one between use in alcohol. The alcohol will evaporate quickly-- dry in plenty of time for the next rabbit...
